About PW Displays
A family business in Finglas, Dublin, putting customers’ brands on products since 1981.
PW Displays is the trading name of Plastweld Displays Limited. Over the years you may also have known us as Plasweld Displays, Promotional Warehouse or PW Promotions.
PW Displays is an Irish promotional products, print and display company. We help businesses, charities, schools, clubs and event organisers get their logo onto the things people actually use, from pens, mugs and calendars to embroidered workwear, bags, tech and point-of-sale displays. We deliver throughout Ireland, the UK and Europe.
Our story
1981: Plastweld Displays Limited is founded. Brian Kirwan starts the company as a plastics business: plastic welding and fabricating plastic products, finished with print and engraving. Printed calendars soon become one of our best-known products, and they still are today.
1996: the next generation. Brian’s twin sons, Roy and Derek Kirwan, join the firm.
Starting again. A fire at our original factory destroyed most of our machines. Rather than close, the family rebuilt at Unit 49, Finglas Business Centre and reshaped the business around promotional products, while keeping the plastic products, printing and calendar work our customers relied on.
Roy and Derek take the helm. When Brian retired, Roy and Derek grew the company with new clients, new product ranges and new ways of branding them.
Through Covid-19. Like many Irish businesses we had to adapt quickly, and we came through it.
2023. We sadly lost Derek to cancer. His work and his relationships with customers are a big part of who we are.
Today. Roy leads the company, with the third generation of the Kirwan family now working in the business.
